Yvan Mispelaere (France)
From Rome to New York, Valentino to Gucci, Mispelaere has the grounds covered.
Yvan studied Fine Arts at the well known Villa Arson, the International School of Contemporary Art. This is where his design skills were sharpened to impress the best of the best of the fashion industry.
In 1989, Yvan spent five years as Claude Montana's assistant, who at the time was the head of Haute Couture at the House of Lanvin.
In 1994, Mispelaere worked for the Italian Couturiere, Valentino for four years before moving onto his next venture at Prada in Milan.
From 2000-2010 Mispelaere took on roles such as the Artistic Director at Louis Féraud, designed for Chloé under Phoebe Philo, and was the Design Director at Gucci working under Frida Giannini. In the midst of working with these powerhouses, Mispelaere created his own clothing line.
Since April 2010, Yvan Mispelaere has been turning heads with his new role as the Creative Director at Diane von Furstenberg where he is settling in New York for a new era in his career.
